Screenshot management
The dashboard screenshot screen reads current screenshot sets from App Store Connect and lets you review them by locale and display type. Hosted order changes are gated by the review workflow: a concrete approved screenshot review job must be applied before LocalizeASO can submit order changes to App Store Connect.
What is loaded
For each locale, LocalizeASO loads screenshot sets by device or display type. It shows:
- Locale.
- Device or display type.
- Screenshot count.
- Screenshot previews.
- App Store Connect screenshot IDs.
Locales with more screenshots and device coverage are prioritized in the list.
Reordering screenshots
You can move screenshots within a device set. Reordering is staged in the dashboard until a human-approved screenshot review handoff is ready for the same app.
Use this for:
- Putting the strongest screenshot first.
- Keeping the first three screenshots consistent across locales.
- Fixing accidental upload order after a Figma export.
Apply order to all locales
If each locale has the same screenshot structure, you can apply the active locale’s index order to all locales for the same display type.
This is useful when translated screenshots were generated from the same source frame order.
Submit order changes
When you submit screenshot order, LocalizeASO sends the changed screenshot IDs to App Store Connect only after the approved screenshot review job has been applied. A generic “reviewed” flag is not enough; the backend checks the concrete review job, app, and approved apply-plan fingerprint. The dashboard can ask for a completion notification and then clears local order overrides after a successful submit.
Figma plugin handoff
The dashboard screenshot screen links back to the Figma plugin workflow. Use the plugin for generating localized screenshot assets, approve the review job, apply approved copy back into the matching Figma file, then use the dashboard or a local asc/Transporter workflow for the human-run App Store Connect handoff.
